snore relief

Are you looking for snore relief?  You are not alone.  Snoring effects millions and millions of people every night and the numbers are growing.  With the way people take care of (or don’t take care of) themselves it is no surprise.

There are many ways in which you can stop snoring for good.  There are snore relief devices that you can buy and there are things in your life that you can change. It’s just a matter of figuring out exactly what causes snoring for you and the best plan of attack.

So let’s get started and figure out how to best remedy your snoring.

Are you overweight?  If so then you need to lose some weight.  Being overweight can put pressure on your neck tissue which causes a restriction in air flow through your airways which leads to snoring.

Do you smoke, drink, or take sleeping pills?  If so, try and cut down on or quit all of these.  Smoking restricts your lungs and congests your nasal passages and alcohol and sleeping pills relax your muscles and soft tissues. The more relaxed your soft tissues are the more likely they are to vibrate and the more likely you are to snore.

Do you sleep on your back?  If so try not to!  Try sticking some pillows on either side of you to prevent yourself from rolling over onto your back.  You can also try sewing a tennis ball onto the back of your shirt to prevent you from rolling over (when you roll over the ball makes it uncomfortable and you’ll roll back over on your side).

Snore Relief Devices

What kind of snore remedy should you purchase?  There are a ton of these products available online that claim to be the “magic bullet” when it comes to killing snoring.  I’ve tested most of them (and have received letters from my blog readers about most of them also) and it seems like the best type of product that is the most effective is a snoring spray.

A snoring spray works so well because it’s not some hard pillow that you have to lay on and it’s not some weird and uncomfortable device that you have to put on your head or in your mouth.

Most sprays  work by clearing your nasal passages and opening your airways.  If you do decide to purchase a snore relief spray (and if you are suffering from snoring you really should at least try it) then get one that is all natural because you don’t want one that is filled with harmful or dangerous chemicals.
