Snore No More! Seriously!
Snore No More! Seriously! Stop It For Good!
I was a serious snorer for about 30 years. So as you can imagine, my wife also suffered. My wife would complain that I was so loud it sounded like a 747 airplane had just landed in the bed next to her. Even my kids, who sleep a few doors down the hall, said that it would wake them up from time to time.
Over the years my wife and I have tried just about every freakin’ thing we could try to get me to stop snoring. My wife brought home all kinds of snoring products and devices and none of them seemed to work.
Here’s a rundown of the products that we have tried over the years to get me to Snore No More:
1. Snoring Pillow. This sorta worked but it was SO uncomfortable to try and sleep on. I missed my regular pillow too much.
2. The mouthpiece. This did not work and it kept falling out of my mouth. When my wife and I would wake up each morning we would find it in different places all over the bed. It sorta became like a game we’d play in the morning “Where Is The Mouthpiece?”
3. Chin strap. The chin strap was like the pillow. It sorta worked but I hated wearing it. It pulled my jaw forward (which is what it’s supposed to do) which made it really uncomfortable for me to try and sleep. I only lasted about a week with this “anti snoring device.”
4. The nose strips. These are the little strips you put on your nose that are suppossed to open them up so that your air way is more open. They didn’t work at all.
When you’re trying to find a snoring remedy it can be very frustrating. Just ask my wife. We’ve even had arguments over my snoring.
So what did we do to get me to Snore No More. Well, several things actually. I ended up sticking with a snore remedy spray (Read my post about this spray here: The Best Stop Snoring Aids: How I Beat Snoring After 30 Years) that really helped.
But I also did a few other things. I lost some weight, cut down on my coffee intake, quit smoking, and did everything I could do to sleep on my side.
All of this combined helped me to stop snoring. It took a while (about a month) but I did it. If you’re having the same problem I had then look into the snore spray and also some other factors (like your diet, your weight, and your sleeping patterns) and in a very short time you can greatly reduce your problem or get to the point where you Snore No More!
